LARPY Judge Biography's Stephen Weese - BIO Stephen Weese is a published computer instructor at a technology college in Raleigh, NC. His first NERO event was at VALOR in Richmond, VA in 1995. NERO was unlike anything he had seen or done before and brought a new angle on gaming. Since then, he fell in love with LARP and has played four different player characters over the years, mostly in the DC METRO, Virginia VALOR, and North Carolina Piedmont chapters. Sometimes Steve will be seen travelling the LARP landscape as his minstrel NPC, Redberry. Redberry tells tales, plays games, and of course sings songs on his guitar for the NERO players he entertains. He enjoys music and fencing, as well as going to renaissance faires. He is a member of the SCA in North Carolina, in the Barony of Windmaster's Hill. He has been doing cosplay and conventions since he was eighteen, and playing D&D and role-playing games since he was twelve. Stephen runs a group for Christians who love to play LARPs and RPGs called Fans for Christ. Steve began acting in high school, and continued on in live theatre and eventually in film where he has been in a full length feature, Henry Dodd, and is listed in the Internet Movie Database. He was recently seen at DragonCon 2005 in the finals of the Whose Line Is It Anyway? competition. |
